Dr. Silva grew up in Bogotá, Colombia until the age of 17. She moved to New York City to attend school at Hunter College. She graduated 2003 with a degree in Biology. She started at the Univeristy of Pennsylvania after that and graduated 2008. While in school she was awarded the Pharmacology award for excellence in Pharmacology. Diana moved to Allentown, PA after that and went to the same residency as Dr. Sorensen at the Lehigh Valley Hospital. She too was taught by 20+ different instructors and learned how to treat patients that were medically compromised. She excels in Invisilign, and cosmetic dentistry. She enjoys spending time with her family, and is an excellent mother. She loves hiking, campfires, and going to the shore.
In college, after realizing that he did not look like Brad Pitt, Tyler decided to abandon his hopes of being a movie star and focused on dentistry like his father before him. He attended the University of Utah, Go UTES! In 2003 he graduated with a major in Psychology, and a minor in Chemistry and began to search for the absolute best dental School. He was accepted to the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He was fortunate to have excellent instructors in school, teaching him how to restore the most complex cases. May of 2008 he graduated from UPENN, and headed up to Bethlehem, PA to attend a General Practice Residency. Here he was able to learn from 20+ different doctors their techniques and tricks and became very well rounded in all aspects of dentistry. Before working in Jenkintown he worked around the city most recently in Norristown. He was fortunate to work with Highly skilled Dentists and learned from them. in 2013 he began placing dental implants and has taken many continuing education courses since then to improve his ability. Currently, he is taking a one year mastery course in California from gIDE dental Institute in association with Loma Linda University. He has placed well over 5000 dental implants from 2013 to 2019.
Dr. Sorensen also works as an instructor for Hiossen Implant, Inc. He teaches the advanced surgery course, and is one of the instructors of the Masters basic course (an 8 day course designed to help new dentists place implants), He teaches 4 of those days. He lives nearby in dresher with his beautiful wife Dr. Diana Silva, and his two cute little girls. Dr Sorensen and Dr Silva met in dental school and began dating in residency. He thinks the world of her. His favorite activity is playing with his kids. His interests are both snow and water skiing, hiking, camping, and trying fix anything. Loves playing in the snow with his kids, and if it doesn't snow enough, he makes it himself.
